I have some of the Pinnacle. I'll sell you what I have for 1/2 price. Does that tell you what I think about it?

red.....is it just me.....`

look at all these pictures of red trucks on the board.....why does the color of the trucks vary......i've seen trucks in person and noticed it too. Some seem like a real flat----almost to an red/orange shade.......some look more like a red...bring red/pink shade......

Tallimecca -

First, you have to understand their will be variations in photo developing or digital images.

Most importantly, red is extremely susceptable to the sun's UV rays. Prolonged exposure to UV will cause red to turn that sort of pinkish tint. We need sunscreen for our cars which some products have UV inhibiors.

Also, there will be slight variations from the factory.

Perhaps a real paint guy can tell us more.

yup

the picture thing is definite...but when i picked my truck up from the i/c recall, there was another 2000 red next to mine....and it looked like it was more of a shade of orange/red than mine....wierd.... Then you look at these picks....there is no difference on black, white, silver(silver paint was changed for 2001), but the reds all look different
