What is the stock cam lobe lift on the Lightning? I show a stock 5.4L is: Exhaust Left = 0.260
Right =0.259

Intake =0.2593

valve lift specs are 13.01mm intake 13.75mm exhaust
sorry forgot how to convert to inches specs are from 2001
ford service manual

 

i think the conversion is 13.01 divided by 25.4 =.512
and 13.75 mm =.541 ????????????

Wow! If your conversion is correct, that is quit a bit of difference from a stock 5.4! I just went to a conversion calculator and you are exactly right. Thanks again!

HI!... I was at my dealers the other day and asked about cam lift on the 5.4. I was told 0.512 intake and 0.541 exhaust. They also showed me on the computer that the reg 5.4's and the LIGHTNING 5.4's use the exact same camshaft profile. This is for the "99" and up reg 5.4's. The pre "PI" 5.4's have a smaller grind.
