Talking 4 Is Better Than 2

Well, I installed the 4 lb pulley today from JDM. Removed the PSP 2 lb pulley which was great. JDMs uses the original bracket and pulley mount. No problems until I went to put on the belt. It was tight before but I couldn't get it over the top pulley. Called JDM. Chip off the lower tit on the back of the idler pulley. This give additional room to push it down and with HELP you can get the belt started on the top pulley. They take an openend box wrench that fits the bolt on front of the top pulley and turn the pulley until the belt goes completely on. Wow! Two was great but four is even better. Stock boost gauge goes wayyyyyy over into the black. Truck is noticeably faster and even better at highway speeds when you wot it. No changes have been made to my chip yet and there is no detination at high rpm just before shift which I listened for. Truck runs great! Thanks JDM!!!!!!! and whoever answered the phone when I called thanks for the idler tip.

For sale one two pound PSP pulley. Works great and has bracket locking piece which is necessary to lock transmission in place when doing mod.

Sounds nice!

I'm supposed to get my PSP 4lb lower today with a new program, can't wait to get home and check it out. Hopefully a 4lb lower with a 1.5lb metco upper and 50shot won't be to much,

That should be an interesting day at the track.

Sounds awesome, I had a similar feeling when I added the Metco upper pullet to my 2# JDM lower. It is great on the highway, just tap the gas and your gone.
I know you will love the new pulley

i have a #6 jl lower and a#2 asp upper and it is amazing how much power the truck makes. i had a nos kit with a 125 dry shot with a #2 lower and it does not compare to how it feels now, with the6/2 and no nos. i won't be needing that anymore due to boost!

Noel,

With your new horsepower mods, I'm not sure how long your
`high mileage' tires are going to last after all!!!!!

I must say, increasing boost makes a HUGE differance. I just went from a 3lb to a 6lb and its like totaly different. I cant imagine how the low 11 sec trucks feel. But I know Im good for a very low 12. Especially once I get the convertor & longtubes, i may even squeeze off a high 11. Its so amazing how easy it is to make these trucks run now!!
