Shorties vs LTs
I've been checking around for someone to install the LT headers for me before I buy. None of the places that I would trust to work on my L are willing to take the Pre-cats off to do it. I have searched back and saw that most threads involving shorties say no power gains. A few have said the same about the LTs. I've noticed that the guys that show improvement with LTs are usually modded into the twelves or better.
What I'd like to know is whether shorties show similar improvements on modded vehicles. Has anybody running stock manifolds into the twelves seen an increase in trap speed with the addition of shorty headers? How about E/Ts? How about on the dyno?
Thanks a lot.~Roger

Odin's:
With your mods, I would think you would be in the 12s--unless you are 'traction-limited'?
Btw, Rusty may have a set of 'shorties' for sale soon unless I can convince him they bring on erectile dysfunction

I haven't been to the track; but, I should be in the twelves with my mods. What I'm trying to find out is, do Shorties make a measurable difference on trucks in my mod range? Some numbers would be appreciated.
