Question Where to get S/C belt .....

My s/c belt (i hope its the s/c belt ) is slipping at high rpms (just before 1-2 shift.) Someone pointed me to a thread about a super dupper s/c belt. Where can i purchase one of these ?, anybody got a p/n ?.

Fritz:

You may be referring to a 'gator-backed" belt by Goodyear--not sure if that's the name? I use a Gates bot at NAPA but don't have the p/n as I had to get a longer one for the larger pulley I put on. Try search on 'gator' or 'NAPA'.

Just tell NAPA you want an 8 Rib belt 67"s long for a stock pulley set-up. They can get you one with that info.
