They closed the thread and there wasn't a hint of a tuner war! I think the car guys are getting a little insecure about our Lightnings for some reason.

When the vote is up on the web site I say we punish that server with hits.

that is the main reason i chose the AWD navigator over the Lightning.

i want a lightning more than anything, other than a z06 vette but since my insurance company wants $7500/ year insurance i am stuck with a P.O.S navigator.
it sucks to be 19...

just kidding i love the truck but back to the lightning.
i just cant have a vehicle that i cant drive in the winter.

plus having to go out to construction sites poses a problem with the lightnings.
the whole "never take a lightning off pavement" has a lot to do with it.

any way all you guys with lightnings and ice on the streets, good luck, it gonna be a long winter.

Speaking of the ice/snow and winter.

I was plesantly surprised at how well the lightnings do in the snow. I was a bit disappointed I had to drive mine in the snow, but the powerstroke was in use by one of my guys and i HAD To go out.

Surprisingly even with the chip from PSP its still VERY drivable. In fact I pulled the chip and noticed no differance. Kudos sal for doing me good!

Anyways, who says you gotta park a lightninf ro the winter!

kinda of a bad statement there for the chip company, dont you think.

well i have a chip and it makes nice power gains.

then i pull the chip out and the truck does not change.i feel no difference.

now that is either a very powerful chip or it does not work.

j/k

i just had to say it. i couldnt let it go
i know what you are talking about though.

those of you who park your lightnings in the winter will have less a chance of hitting a patch of ice and losing your lightning till the spring.

Dan:

It was the thought that counts.
Much appreciated....
