my buddy was in worsh shape from his airbag than the acciden in his mustang, Ill pass.

I've thought about it before since I have removed the cruise control unit all together on my truck, but I would want something that looked cooler!

I know that billet speacialties is right in our area and that we could probably get them to make us a custom wheel with a Lightning signature in the middle! That would be awesome! Or make the parts that go from the middle to the outer ring look like lighitning bolts, that would rock too!

Do you know someone there GM, if so ask them about it!
Hey if so I'll let them take some pics of the truck and put it in there we site, HAHAHAHAHA.

About the wheels, I don't really like those to much. I think they would look kind funny, but I could be wrong. Thats just my opinion and it really doesn't matter. I know that billet speacialties is big bucks to for the 20" so make sure those are the ones you want.

Later, JOE

GM:

I agree with you on "no SRS". I pulled it out of my 1991 Z281LE 'track car'/daily driver. It's still in my L but I'm thinking about removing it. If I change the steering wheel, I would want a more traditional track-type wheel.

Hey Spike, what kind of wheel do you guys steer with as you navigate around those curves and turns?

Dan

Pretty Much I Know The Owner.

Were real good friends, Plus i do all his stereo systems in his cars.

There wheels arent that expensive TRUST ME.

If u think of a design i could get it done up. If u want a lightning Bolt Not a Problem.

I was gonna get a Custom Horn Button made with a Bolt in it, that should be done soon, Hes a little tird up on some other things and new wheels at the moment. Ill ask him about a lightning bolt wheel and see what he has to say.

Those wheels look Good i had one Next to the Truck the other day. I was also looking at this one.

Question

If you change your steering wheel and no longer have an air bag, are you required to notifiy your ins company?

If so, how much did lack of bag affect the premium?

I may be wrong, but isn't the airbag mandatory after a certain year for street certification? Just like seat belts are?

I like The soft lip design.

The web is a nice wheel, Its not me.

I had the Whole billet warehouse at my disposal when i was figuring out what wheel i wanted, I liked those 2 the best.

the quality of there wheels is Outstanding Compared to the Other so called billet companys.

If anyone is intrested in a set Let me know, I will take care of my fellow Lightning brothers.

I agree that the soft lip design is excellent, & maybe the best improvement in wheel design in a while. I also agree that the Billet Speciality wheels are spectacular, but a few of the other "so called billet companies" you referred to make comparably excellent wheels.
