Can't find the exact components that seperated the 00s from the 01s. Anyone know? I know the intercooler, but what else? Thanks in advance.

 

Intercooler, different intake, 373 gears, alluminum driveshaft.

 

Whees, tire compound,head lights corner lamp,tail lamps ,dual sun visors ,90mm Mass air ,Bilsien shocks, Computer programing,20 H.P. & 10 ft #'s of torque.That's off the top of my head!Hope it helps

LED 3rd brake light!!! And I think one downfall is the F150 Mats, 99 & 00 came with Lightning mats I think.

 

I don't know about 99's but my 00 did'nt have lightning mats!

 

Did you expect specific mats for $32,000?

 

I was refering to the above post!My 00 was $26.8K & my 01 was 27.8K

 

'01 & '02 have clear plastic driving lights that crack from heat/cold, when illuminated. I believe '99 & '00 have glass lense driving lights that crack from rocks.

99's have plain ol F150 mats

 

I'm sure the silver is a different colour for 2001,2002 than the 99,00 code and I think the mechanical diode in the tranny has gone from a ball wedge to a ratchet. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

 

as of a week ago all lightnings will have the new intercooler,the old ones have been re-called.and i konw there were some lightnings that had "svt lightning" floor mats, mine are plain,my brother works at a dealership and i think he said something about the mats being different every year, and as for the new 90mm thrortlebody, aren't dual 56's better? also, did you guys get an svt benefits package, with free oilchanges and a car wash at every service?

 

Unless I didnt read all the stuff I got in the mail, I never heard of no free oil changes!
