25 Minute Belltech Shackle install

Ok not alot to it but I did these in 25 minutes.
Not alot of drop but did level it out better.
Not bad for 50.00 , but now I want more.

First get jack stands and tools. I went up 2 notches on my smaller stands. Placed under frame at front of spring

Then I loosened the nuts and removed them.
Lowered the rear end to the ground ...at 2 notched on the stands, my tire were on the ground
I then removed bottom bolt.
then I jacked rear end back up to removed top bolt.
Remove old shackle

I then installed new Belltechs.
Top bolts first then lower jack and line up bottom bolts.
Then tighten bolts.
Raise jack to remove stands and you are done.

Really easy and it gets the a$$ out of the air. Makes it look a lot better.

One thing I also did with that 2in shackles was put a 4deg wedge in to change the pinion angle. It really made the truck hook up good!!!

Do you need/require an alignment after installation?

no alignment needed, The shackles are for the back , does not mess with the front at all.

Would you go into more detail on the 'wedge' IC? I have the 2" drop too and drag race.
