2 oh **** handles

Just noticed that there are two "oh ****" handles on the passanger side of the L but only one on the driver side Ford must have gotten lots of complaints from passengers forced to ride in the seat next to crazy L owners

Hadn't noticed but maybe I'll take my sister in law out for a spin. She'll find both. Just hope she doesn't crap herself first.

andy, i think the second handle he is talking about is the one above the passengers head. right above the window. the drivers side doesnt have one of those, only one on the a-pillar.

Ok I just went and looked at my truck for the second time...lol
The only O Chit handle I have on the passenger side is on the A piller. Guess they changed that for 02s.

However I did notice there is an adjustment for the seatbelt shoulder height that i didnt know about.

Holy ***** handles

Actually the story that I got from the owner of the dealership that I go to, is that the wife of the designer of the Lightnings complained about getting thrown around in the truck while her hubby drove around. So she asked him to add a second handle on the passenger side. So on the '01's you will find 2 on the passenger side (A-pillar, and above head) and one on the driver's side(A-pillar only).

Actually, I've been contimplating putting one in the middle (interior roof) someplace, due to when I have 2 passengers. The middle person is a pain the ****, because he/she gets thrown around a bit. I'll have to conjure something up.

Well, as the saying does go, "Get in, shutup and hold on"

Yep, that was John Colletti--and you forgot--"buckle up"

What year and model is yours? If it fits the standard equipment for that year/model, I'd complain a little.

One on each A-pillar of my 2000. Glad I don't have to carry the extra weight.

1 handle on each side is just to assist short people getting in to the truck. The handles next to your ears are the "hold on " handles.

Thumbs down

If anyone ever hears of new A-pillar covers that allow for the REMOVAL of these silly handles, please let me know!

Thanks in advance,
Jake...
