What's the diff between 2" drop shackles and 2" drop leafs?

What difference in traction/handling is there in these two options other than the $ 230 price difference?

5x more $ and 5x the install time more than likely.

depends on how you use your truck. Daily driver vs. racer or a mix of both.

Thumbs up

daily driver here as well.

save the $$ and hassle and go with the shackles and use the leftover for other goodies.

Install time for the shackles is about 40 minutes in case you want to reinstall the stockers for towing.

Yeah the Shakles are the way to go for just the level look, the Leaf's work good for drag racing though. I know Totaled has them on his, his truck leaves really nice. But just to level the truck and for quick changes as needed the shakles are great!!!

Want best of both worlds

I tow a twenty foot boat and a 5k camper does that mean I lose towing capacity if I lower it?

Drop leafs will probably have a different spring rate from stock (stiffer). Here's a description of the changes that may occur:

Suspension setup and trouble shooting
