Question how much for speed grills

how much did you guys pay for the speed grills both top and bottom. i look it up on jcwhitney.com and they want $165.90 for the satin finish the chrome was a little over $200. is that about right or is it cheaper somewhere else. and what do you guys think is better on a white L with chrome wheels. satin finish or chrome. thanks

CrazyFoo, did you have to do anything special to make them fit your 01? On JCWhitney's site, they only list them for the 99-00 models. I like the look of those grills and have been thinking about getting a set but wasn't sure if they fit an 01.

Bob

PS. Any chance of meeting up, since you're not far away? I'd like to see those in person before I buy if at all possible.

What city do you live in Chainsaw13? It was kind of a pain for me to install, I cut out the inside of my stock grille, and screwed this grill to the black frame of the original grille. That way you do not have to grind down the bumper like the instructions say to. The bottom grille was an easy install, 10 minutes tops. I just used some zip ties to attach it.

I live in Southgate. We could probably meet at the Hooters on Gratiot/14 mile, although this weekend looks bad for me. Email me at rbentle2@yahoo.com and we can discuss more. Thanks.
