White Lightning Burago - Die-cast 1:18

Just posting this note to let you all know there is another 1:18 scale lightning available....picked it up yesterday. It's a white 2000 lightning with two jet skis in the bed and psychedelic stickers on all the quarter panels. I will try to post pictures later. If you've already seen it, then ignore my posting. The box is larger than the other Burago Lightnings also.....

Hey, are the psychedelic things removable (decals) to make it a plain White Lightning, or are they painted on?

That's really all I want..........I'll let them keep the jet skis!! HEHE

As far as i can tell, you should be able to easily remove them. I don't know if they're only available in Canada or what because they've been here for over two months and i think i'm the only one who posted about it.

White Lightnin' model

I was looking for a white Lightning die cast model for the longest time. Just couldn't find the white one anywhere. Then sure enough, I open a Christmas present, and whoop, there it is. I asked her where she got it, because I had a beeatch of a time trying to find one. Well, it appears that my girl went for quite a trip to get it. No hobby store, dealership, toy store or otherwise had it or could get one. It's kinda hard to find one up here in Canada, it appears. She ended up getting it from next door to me in Calgary. Don't know if it was the Toys R Us, SilvrLndJet, but she did say that she ended up getting reffered to Mallboro(sp?) Ford. Someone there collects models or something like that. And then they basically shopped around for her, found one, and shipped it to us.

But anywho, I have one now. But as for the decals, I didn't seem to get any. Basically threw away the jetskis. It's called the Ford SVT F150 WaterScooter. But mine is in 1/21 scale, from Burago as well.

Hey there, SilvrLndJet. Do you have a real life white L? I might have seen your truck the last time I was there(Calgary)

Tore it apart and spray painted it black.
(Too much time on my hands I guess.....hehe)

I can't even find this freeking thing online except for visuals from German and Japanese websites.......

BTW, it's airbrushed, not decaled.................unless you paint over it, you can't get it back to white........sorry.

I guess we'll never have a 1:21 scale WHITE LIGHTNING

White Lightning diecast

My girl just found the contact where she got the white diecast Lightning from. If anyone is interested, the contact lady's name is Debbie Mastel, and was reffered to by a lady at Mallborough(sp?) Ford in Calgary, and is also located in Calgary, AB. -Canada. Her email address is carcollectible@home.com Looks like the business is called Car Collectibles, that also has other assorted vehicle memorabilla. And at last word(about a month ago) she had all colors available. Hope this isn't enflicting upon the vendors rule, here. I'm not profiting from it. Just helping out. Happy hunting.

There was a handfull of those trucks at my local Toys R us as well. I had to dig through them to find the only black one they had left. Of course the box was totally smashed and the model has a few scratches on the roof (might have to 2000 wet the thing) but I found what I was looking for. Those stickers are totally nasty looking on the white ones
