dash lights

Is there a way to change the indiglo dash lights from green to blue?

I believe it is a Flourescent lamp inside the cluster and is unservicable according to the shop manual. It also states that removing the cluster from the harness will require Ford to reset it. I guess it is a tampering feature built in.

Advice:

Leave it be...unless one of the tuners wanna step up to the plate here and give some info.

I think Nostromo is right,

They build stuff these days to be able to change out a COMPONENT not just a bulb or gauge!!! I think its stupid but alot of cars are getting like that!!!

I know that if you have the cluster replaced, you have to reprogram the pats key system, cause its run through the cluster. The lighting system is non-servicable, except as an assembly, i've had mine replaced once already.

For what its worth..I have had the cluster out, and disconnected from the main harness...never had any problems re-installing it.

Joe,

LOL..never did a convertor, or other fancy GO-GO Mods that some require top achieve sub 12 sec. runs LOL....

Just waiting on the 04's
