Bassani cat back ques??
Bassani cat back ques??
Did anyone have the clamps loosen on their cat back after a few days of driving??I am guessing it is due to heating up and cooling off for the first few times. I noticed the tips hanging down so I pushed it up and saw the whole setup move some. I cant get under it right now to tighten it up, I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen????
Iculokn, I have seen your truck on this board many times. I must admit, I think you have one of the tightest lightnings around! anywayz, why did you buy the bassani exhaust and was it worth it? also where did you purchase it at? also how are the quality of JL's products? I am lookin for a tuner to start modding my truck and I need some suggestions? thanx chris
I noticed the clamps did not fit real well on the pipes when I put it on-the spacers tended to bind sideways and were kinda funky, so I re-used the U-bolt clamps that came off the stock muffler and have not had a problem. Also, they sent me two sets of hanger hardware, and no hardware for the flanges on the rear of the muffler. I had to go to the hardware store to get an additional $10 worth of SS nuts & bolts to finish the job. Frankly, I expected better hardware on a $700 system. I got it from PSP's website and it was dropped shipped from Bassini. Pretty prompt-less than a week. Then I found it for $675 on someone's elses site-JL?, I can't remember.

The Bassani is top qaulity and looks & sounds great. I bought it from a guy that ordered it and then changed his mind. I got a great deal on it and it was brand new so I couldnt pass it up. I really like JL & all of his products. If I had not found it for what I did , I would have ordered it from him or Sal. Sal is a great guy to, I have not bought from him personally but my friends have and I would say his stuff is top notch as well. Neither myself or my close friends have used JDM, many here have. Its all up to you on who you use!!!!
