I was going to visit a buddy today in Spring, TX, and I had one of those "DAMN!" experiences. When passing thorough Magnolia, a new silver ZO6 pulled out in front of me (the chihca in the passenger seat was peeping the hell out of the Lightning). We did the side by side thing for a bit, and all of a suden, a silver Viper pulled out from another side street (from the right, over by the Kawasiki dealership on FM249...for those that know the area). Unfortunately, we never all got to line up (like I would have been able to do ****), but it was still cool to think that the best that America has to offer were all together. If only I would have been smart enough to get a silver L....

Guess it depends on your criteria, but I would say that the "Big 3" are Panoz LMP-1, Cadillac LMP, and Saleen S7R, probably in that order, although the new caddy looks really bad. Now if we are talking street legal cars that you can actually buy my vote would go to the Saleen S7.

 

Dammitt Alpha! You know what I mean. As in...."street legal cars that Joe Citizen can afford!" Obviously there are better, but not that you'd see on the streets...esp in backwoods east Texas.
