Truck-Traks?
Odin's Wrath I don't have any pictures yet. The machine shop is a little slow getting things done this time of year.
Basically, they are a 1" aluminium adaptor that the snubber screws into. The adaptor has a stud in the other end that fits into the hole that the snubber came out of. There are (2) aluminum spacers that go in between the adaptor and the Truck- Trak so that you can adjust the height of the snubber.
What is the clearance between the snubber and the spring now?

I've moved the assembly back and forth and changed to each of the three holes and the closest I can get it is 2 3/8 inches. Unless I slide it all the way forward to the spring mount. Then it closes up to about 1 1/2 inches. The pictures I've seen and the provided directions don't support going that far forward. I still haven't installed my drop shackles.
Odin's Wrath, put the snubber in the most forward hole. Slide the Truck-Traks as far forward as possiblem without hitting the exhaust. If the clearance is more than 1 1/2", you need the spacer kit.
Have you lightened the truck any? Why don't you send me your email address, and I can send you some pictures of the installation.

I can slide the snubber far enough forward that it is directly under where spring wraps around the mount. (The Borla system leaves a lot of room to work with.) This gives me right at 1 1/2 inches of clearance; but, is it OK for the snubber to connect with the mounting area of the spring instead of the flat area of the spring. This also puts the rear mounting bracket of truck-Traks about 1/4 inch from the brake lines.
Nope. I haven't lightened my truck in any way. I dont have a tonneau on it yet though. The weight of a tonneau would close some of the gap. No bed rug or liner either. That may be some of the problem.

You have an ideal situation there. The absolute best place for any slapper type of traction bar to contact is the spring eye. With the stock exhaust, that wasn't possible. I'd run them right there, and see how they work. They should provide lot's of lift to the front of the truck.
As for the clearance to the brake line, 1/4" shouldn't be a problem. I haven't had any slippage or movement on mine in the 15k miles that I have been running them. I would however, keep an eye on them for a while, to make sure that they don't move.

Thanks a lot Jay! I still might have to get the spacer kit later, after I put in the drop shackles. I'll have to wait and see. I'll be in touch if I do.
Merry Christmas
