JL 4LB lower pulley install
Quick shipping, great directions, it only took me 1 hour and 15 min. to install in my driveway. Only minor problem is no allen socket tool in the kit to install the lower pulley bolts. I just happened to have one. The performance is great thanks JL. Scott R.
I received my pulley a little while ago, but no directions. I just went to Sal's sight and downloaded those (hope you don't mind Sal). What instructions did you get from Johnny? Can you post them here?
Here is a link to ASP's directions. In step 4 the 14mm bolt 8" above the heater hose on my truck was 13 mm and the step 5 inspection plate was also 13 mm. Use the lock that is provided not the 15mm wrench like asp uses. Also make sure you have the allen socket for the new bolts supplied with the kit. The only socket I got was the 14mm for the center of the pulley. Scott
4. Slip the heater hose wire shield off the stud and remove the 15mm nut that holds the cage to the engine. Remove the same nut on the passengers side, and the 14mm bolt on the drivers side, located 8" inches above the heater hose wire shield-pulley cage stud.
5. Remove the two 14mm bolts that hold the transmission bellhousing inspection plate on, and remove the plate

Thanks scottodog. Those are good instructions. As soon as the snow clears, I'll be out there changing the pulley. Jeff
