Exclamation F150Online Server Issues....

There have been a few issues with the Server today. Including problems with the Galleries and the Server rebooting on its own

Steve and I apologise for the trouble. We are working hard to correct them. Steve is on the road for the holidays. If you see a problem with the Boards or the galleries send me an email (With Details) rather than filling Steves mail box... he will be connecting over dial up and will appreciate the break.

Hope Everyone has a safe and Happy Holiday Season

Doug

Happy hollidays

I have been having problems with the server for a few weeks. I have no idea what the problem is. I don't have problems with any other web page.

Oh well, enjoy christmas and I hope you get the bugs worked out.

Don

Doug, you and Steve have done a truely great job maintaining the content and operation of these boards. I know some people freak out when they don't get thier F-150 Online fix, but I'm sure everyone understands that technical issues arise.

To both you and Steve, don't sweat the small technical issues, just enjoy the holiday season .

Ok, glad it's not me...

I've been having troubles for a few weeks as well (Maybe it's a Don thing?) Just for reference:

1) When typing, the cursor jams and not all the characters come up
2) When clicking on a link in a post, the page freezes

3) Page freezes when bringing up a profile.

Doesn't happen everyday though, but no sweat. **** happens!!!

At one point yesterday the Cold fusion service didnt restart with the rest of the server which left the galleries down.

Steve has invested in adding more memory to the server to speed the access. The pages POP faster for me now than they did... I havent noticed the Profile issues described above.

hey doug, is there any way to implement a search function in the galleries? its really hard to find someones gallery without them putting up a url to it.
like if someone wants to look at my photos, but can't find a link to them, they could do a specific search on my username from the gallery main page.

thanks,
brooks
