Does anyone know what the A/F ratio runs on a stock L? Seems to me it's kinda rich. I have heard of people with Mustangs tweaking the ratio several different ways, such as MAF adjusters, IAC temp adjusters, and of course with pressure regularors.

I was wondering if devices like these are available (I know the reulators are) for the Lightnings, and if they are even needed.

What I am thinking is that if you lean up the mixture just a little, you will gain a little power and also MPG. Maybe I am way off here..

 

Your not off at all, but the A/F on the L's is controlled through the ECU.

 

So true, but an adjustment to the MAF or intake temp will cause the ECU to make adjustments to the mixture.
