What a freaking crock of $hi#

Did anyone happen to catch the article in muscle mustangs and fast fords about the project Lightning??....In very bold letters it says Laws of physics be damned-our 4500-lb. brick runs 12.14@109.79 mph...We're happy and so are the boys at SVT.........it has Coletti and Allan Hall praising the mods......in light of all the voiding of warrantys isnt this just a big slap in the face?? come on guys.........

Yeah Coletti stated that he follows all the articles and he thinks it's fantastic that MM&FF have made the L their project vehicle. To bad my dealer don't think the same!!!

Cool

It all depends on your dealer, and your relationship with that dealer. When my motor blew up my dealer replaced it under warrantee, including the upgraded intercooler and a new supercharger. They knew the truck was modded, the chip was still in it. But, they also know that I don't whine and try to get them to do warrantee work on stuff thats my fault, like broken tranny and rear end. It probably helps that the head of the service department races a dragster himself, or that I have bought more than one vehicle from them. I guess if I were a dealer and someone brought in a vehicle for warrantee work that had been purchased elsewhere I might be more inclined to disallow it.
