It's not a "time" but more a peaceful state of mind. Just sit back, relax and open wide...

Spike that was easily one of the sweetest films I have seen on these boards. Even better then that Escort in England (or where ever the hell it was)
I love hearing the whine....even over Creed.

Under the steering wheel & dash, but above the carpet you'll find three rectangular objects attached to arms that magically suspend them in the air. Sitting in the Drivers seat the leftmost pedal, (nearest the drivers door) is the parking, or emergency, brake. The middle pedal is for the brakes. Now this leaves one pedal, the right one, nearest the middle of the truck. When the engine is running & the transmission is engaged in drive, this right pedal will allow you to control the trucks forward progress called; acceleration. If you have an open stretch of highway before you & apply enough downforce, commonly with your right foot, on this pedal to have it contact the floorboard you have now achieved the ever elusive WOT. I must warn you, this may be the single most contagious automotive addiction on the planet. Many L owners suffer from WOT, & can often be heard saying, "Later guys I'm going to WOT the L..."
WOT is a 'strategy' that your ECU goes into when the throttle is opened past a certain point. Usually this occurs around 85% open. Depends on load, speed, gear position, etc. It dumps emission control and A/C compressor activation in favor of maximum power. Timing and fuel are both pretty much maxed out, and I believe that the O2 sensors are also ignored as they go WAY rich. There is a book that Ford sells that explains all of the diffrent 'strategy' modes. . .like cold start, warm drive away, and of course 'WOT' Wide Open Throttle.
I hope this helps you.
