Thumbs up My L is fixed!

I had a really bad miss that got worse with RPM. Took it into the dealer this morning and got a call back a few hours later, that it was done. Turns out it was the #4 coil pack (Hey FORD, fix this!) problem that a lot of people seem to have. All is good now though.

Later,
Roger

Are you running stock, or do you have mods done to your truck?

Completely stock, except for a K&N, for now. Chip will come at a later time, or a Power Programmer.

So what did you feel from the truck that alerted you that something was wrong.........I'm getting concerned that if/when something happens with mine, i won't feel it

You don't have to worry about NOT feeling it. If you have a coil pack or spark plug not working, you will know it! It was a bad "miss" at idle, and if you took the truck up to about 40mph it would feel like your motor is about to fall out of the truck, or that there is a major tranny problem. It will feel something like that and you will know that something is wrong. It will also be way down on power. If you sit in your truck and let it idle you will feel it through the seat of your pants, the steering wheel, or wherever you are touching the truck at. You can also pop the hood and watch for a small "shake" of the engine.
