Connecting Rods..How Much?

i was looking at http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/
and went to f-150 5.4 connectiong rods, there only $41? i thought they were a lot more??? if the stock ones are so cheap how much can aftermarket ones be?? like $75 a piece? i bet installations a bitch though. how much is everyone that has upgraded their rods paying for installation?

pretty good deal, how much for the install? did you upgrade your pistons too? how much hp is that setup good for?

I don't know My truck is getting the work done right now. I am putting those rods in allong with some Federal Mogal pistons. I am also doing long tube headers a torque converter and beefing up the transmision while the truck is apart.

Those rods can handle what ever you want. I think they are good for 800 HP

I have no idea what the project will end up costing me. It will be interesting when I get the bill.

And no there was nothing wrong with my truck

Come March I will be able to tell you how fast the beast will go. I have a feeling it might be a bit quicker than the 12.45 I am running now:o

I noticed on the Manley website that they offer 2 different pin diameters...anyone know which version the aftermarket pistons for the L requires?
