Question Spray in or bed rug??

I have a 2000 L and was just wondering what some of you have out there? I know that a spray in is rugged, and the carpet looks good from what I have seen, but I was just curious as to what looks good in an L?

Though the L can still be used as a work truck, most owners use it as it was designed for... Fun. Weather your fun is in drag raceing, auto crossing, or showing; I think a Bed rug would be great for all of em.

plus, with a bedrug, you can chill in the back. hell you could even sleep back there with a sleeping bag and a pillow. with a spray in bedliner, it wouldnt be too comfortable.

Boone,

I am considering the same thing and called two places from San Antonio that do this.

Line-X: $389 (extra $200 if you want color match)
Rhino: $399 ($150 - $200 extra for color match)

I haven't decided if Rhino or Line-X is better, I need to ask around. I just thought I would share this with you.

Line-x is like the Rhino. Spray ins are good for work trucks or ordinary everyday trucks, Why would someone put a spray in bedliner in a L, only a bedrug or nothing belongs in an L. IMHO

Buy, borrow, steal a truck when a spray in liner bed is needed.

Boone,

Line-X is spray in. The san antonio store has a website

http://www.line-x-sa.com/

Rhino is also spray in, but I couldn't find a website for them.

I am not sure if I would want a bedrug, I actually haul stuff
around.

Hope this helps -Matt-

My dad has a Rhino lining in his truck bed, and it looks decent and is a great for putting stuff in the back....I myself am stuck between getting the color matching spray on, or a regular bedrug....I DO have a dirt bike and would be worried about oil and dirt staining the bedrug and making it look horrible...and i think that the rhino lining with the matching color would look pretty damn nice....anyways just my .02

Hey,

If you want a spray in, I would go with a Rhino, I had one in my 98 Supercab 5.4.

I wasn't trying to be a butt, just messing around a bit. I have a Toyota truck to haul stuff around in or I borrow my fathers F-150. He always says, what did I buy my L for.. LOL I say, To street race Pop, I got yours for the other stuff...

I would go with a very dark color like black or charcoal, It will fade in the sun.

You could always put in a under the rail plastic liner.

I used to live in Houston (Clear Lake area) there is a Rhino store in Houston (Katy area) on I think it is I-10 to San Antonio??? He did my 98 Supercab, great guy and a great price.

Installed price of a bedrug? I have a bed rug and billet grille, the grille was a pain in the ***, and i wish i had someone install it, but the rug just goes right in. No need to have it installed, I had the whole thing done in just over an hour and it looks great...i got it for $350 from my speed shop

Bed rug, all the way!

Get a bed rug and a lid...you'll have a huge trunk. Don't worry about staining it. I spilled lawn mower oil on mine, and it cleaned up easy with some Simple Green and the garden hose. I've hauled quite a few things on it, and it still looks like new.
