How hot does the supercharger oil get and would it help any to put a oil cooler on?

The supercharger oil only lubricates the two gears behind the snout. I don't think there is anyway to put a cooler on it.

There is. Anything is possible with time and money. You would need a pump, lines, and a radiator to creat a oil cooler for it.

How about just mounting a peltier chip to the front case. They are used to cool large computers and run off 12 volts. The temp difference from the hot side to the cold side is about 70 deg. You can pick them up on ebay for 16 dollars. If the hot side is 70 deg the cold side would be 0 cooling the case where the oil is. They make larger models that also cool fuids for around 300-400 dollars. Water coolers and plug in coolers use peltiers.

I think you are going to get into deliminating returns if you try and use a computer proc cooler, its not designed for such use, and will be highly non efficient.

I would not worry with trying to keep that oil cool, its a closed system anyhow... unless you do lots of wild modifications...

Just my opinion though.,
