Hurt to do it, but I had to
If yer gonna keep it outside like that for the Winter, may I make a suggestion? Use TWO covers, one over top of the other. I've been using car covers on vehicles for over 15 years now and I've found that 2 covers will keep your vehicle clean and dry. Much more than 1 cover alone. As a plus, the 'underneath' cover seems to last much longer too. Just my .02. I'll be drivin' mine all Winter.
At least when it's not snowin'!

Check out www.coverit.com for a much nicer winter alternative.

Hey! Mine's officially called BRB -- Big Red B!tch...and she really growls and whines when I talk dirty to her! I don't have to put her away for winter, thank goodness; I don't think she'd like it!

Thats a sad sight, keep your head up spring will be here before you know it.
I would still get out and drive it when weather and the roads are dry. When you do make sure it is at least 30 minutes. This way every thing will stay all lubed up.
At least you can go look at your truck. Mine is 250 miles away from me
Talk to you soon

LOL!
I feel your pain brother. Think of how happy you will be to drive her after winter though, I know I can't wait already to drive mine! She's been out for 3 weeks now

I would be very careful about leaving it outside and covered. I stored a mustang outside like that and will never do it again. Moisture will always find it's way in, and wreak havoc on the paint. I tried everything to keep the moisture out, but nothing worked. I had a spot on the rear wing that had turned white because the condensation had sat on it so long. Also, all the edges on the car were rubbed and worn by the cover flapping around in the breeze - even though it was as tight as possible. I store my Cobra in a small barn that some Amish guys built for me - not taking the chance of ruining the paint on it. Just my .02 from what I have learned in the past.
