radio removal
You shouldn't need to remove anything else from around the radio just to remove the radio itself. Insert the tools until it 'clicks' (won't really be audible, but you should be able to 'feel' it), and simultaneously pull outwards (<- and ->) and towards you on the tools to unlatch the radio and remove from the dash. That's what worked for me.

Okay, then removal of the bezel isn't all that difficult, if a bit nerve wracking the first time. The bezel is simply held in by spring clips all around, EXCEPT there are two wires attatched by the airbag switch.
You can slowly work each side and top/bottom free with just your fingers &fingernails, you shouldn't need any tools. As long as you don't just completely *YANK* the bezel off, you shouldn't have to worry about the wire connections. You'll see what I mean. Good luck!
