Spark plug/pulley combo?? any thoughts?

Just got a 3# JL pulley.............what spark plugs do you all suggest?? JL says go with the Denso's.......they are like $90? or something........NGK'S are cheap but are they good?? or with such a small pulley should i run stock plugs and still be safe.......btw.....its a daily driver so any input would be great!!!!!!

17,000 dialy driver miles, 3lb pulley, stock plugs--no problems--so far? I do plan to change them soon but they have 'worked' admirably.

Hey ICULOKN,

What NGK plus were you using? I had the TR6's in for a long time with my 3 lb pulley, chip, filter, and when I removed them, they looked good, I put the Denso's in at BG.

So, I think you would be fine with the TR6's Keith, buy the Denso's when you want to upgrade.

listen for detonation

I use the NGK TR6 with the #3 pulley and chip. Just make double sure your not have any detonation, Get on the road and turn your radio off and get on it deep and listen, if its quiet your ok. I tried the TR5 but it was still to hot went to the TR6 with a .035 gap and its been fine.
