McCord makes a "Power Plate" that you can bolt up to an existing cutout.

I talked to Empire about the backorder, and was told they no longer sell the McCord, but are working on their own

There is another one of these that looks exactly the same, and it's here:

Hope this helps!

There's a company called McCord that makes a "power pipe" for the F-body. It's an electric cutout that is activated from inside the car. Not sure if they offer anything for the L though.

I've been considering manual (wingnut) cutouts for my L, but I'm not sure of the placement. There is plenty of room on the Driverside pipe (post-catalytic), but the passengerside doesn't offer much room at all. The Cat and muffler are spaced pretty close together. Mounting a cutout in between will only allow fresh air to be introduced to the Cat/02 sensors causing air/fuel issues. Has anyone tried this successfully?

thanks for the help, since mccord doesnt have a 2-1/2 inch power cutout i checked out the other site. it seems like that other site has what im looking for. $180 for each electric cutout(i think its for each and not both) plus a set of normal cutouts for $20 a piece, so im looking at $400. kinda pricey but i think its worth it to not have to crawl under the car. i will most likely get this setup but not before i get more important stuff like chip, filter, and so on.

thanks
joe

btw
do you need a chip burned to accomidate(sp?) cutouts because of backpressure? is there any power gains from cut outs? do they sound good when open or are they just loud a hell?
