I had a C&L (80mm) w/K&N on a couple of years ago.

I even had it dynoed at exactly a 0hp gain. After that I gave it away to a Cobra guy that loved it?

Strange world?

I think C&L is just trying to sell MAFs.

hey riddler, i used the pro m 80mm for a year and was totally satisfied with it. it not only sounded great(with the cone filter) but improved my e.t. by .05 sec's. when your going for that 12sec. club everything helps. i've since gone to the 01- 90mm set up with ram air and gained more. i did the 80 w/o a chip reburn but the 90 req'd one. later.....jack

Not really, Your search is over. The stock 01, 02 90 milimeter mass air is what you want to get!

The C&L he is talking about is an 85mm MAF. Sport Truck magazine posted similar results. They claim a 33hp increase over stock.

I think back in the day we got like 12HP with the Pro-M 80mm MAF over the stock 80mm MAF. We still use the Pro-M because we see no real reason to get the 90mm.

well I just dont think that the Ford MAF are that refined, I did a converstion on my 88 mustang to maf using a stock 70 MM maf and eventually switched to a different brand but same size..Just if these companys put so much R&D in there MAFs you would think they would be better then a stock unit?
