Smile 1ST time at the track and in the 12's

Well after much prodding from the other local L owners I finally took my truck to Moroso motorsports park tonight..The truck was at full weight, hitch, sway bars,1/2 tank of gas, fiberglass bed cover etcc...etcc.. The conditions were far from ideal, temp was 72 degrees barometric pressure was 30.05 but the HUMIDITY was 91% ( welcome to south Fl.) sitting in the staging lanes the moisture would gather on the roof, hood and lid like it had just lightly rained. Here are my times with the F1's at 18psi
Dial ... 13.00
R/T ... .778
60' ... 1.904
330 ... 5.402
1/8 ... 8.302
MPH ... 84.83
1000 ... 10.821
1/4 ... 12.958 << WIN
MPH ... 105.21

With the weather cond. I was pretty happy, and feel the onslaught of an addiction, oh well 12 step or 12 sec.

Thumbs up

Congratts
That is a awesome rum, especially since it is the first time out with the truck.

If you can get a cooler night with less himidity just watch your times fall.

Good job

Don

TZ,

What "pound" pulley do you have? Is it a 2,3,4 or what?

Good run.

Nice run!!

Maybe orange is fastest!!??? HA!

This FL humidity killed me at the track last time too.....my roof was completely wet. The temp wouldn't fall below 79 all night. I was traction limited and went 13.3. Maybe next time I will try the 18psi on the F1's and see if it helps! Congrats again...and don't line up next to me for a while!
