lower pulleys????

lower pulleys????

has anybody had any problems with there pulleys i think i might want to put a 4# but dont know the risks????

Easier Speeding Tickets, More prone to race, um less gas milage due to more WOT......

Can i join in on this thread, i am curious as to how much a difference a lower pulley can make, i am all up for more power, however am not so sure i want a chip,,, what happens if i get a lower pulley, but not a chip ??

i wouldn't

Unless your going with an upper pulley, say 1# or so I wouldn't recommend putting a pulley on without a chip. The lower pulley's boost the pressure so much more that you need to have everthing correct, Fuel to Air, Timming and so on. I personally like the lower pulley it was very easy to install and around town the gas milage didn't seem to change any. Boost and feeling however changed dramatically. I have the JL 3# and it got me .26 faster in the 1/8th. Yea I like it. I also recommend some new plugs with the extra boost. Just do a search there are lots to choose from. I run the NGK TR6 gapped at .035.
