running rich

I know that the Lightning runs rich, and a chip will fix that. Chip's a little expensive for me right now and i don't think i'll ever get one, just not in the budget. Is there any danger of keeping my lightning stock and letting it continue to run rich besides just the carbon on the exhaust tips? Thanks, also, exhaust opinions? I'm thinking Borla, anyone know of anything better sounding/louder?

Running the truck stock is the best way to go for engine longevity. Ford designed them to run a little rich since it is easy to burn a piston ob a Supercharged engine.

I have heard the best bang for the buck is the Magnaflow cat-back system. Borla and Bassani are pretty pricy.

There is nothing wrong with keeping it stock, it will serve you well for a long time that way.

I agree with Frank
The MagnaFlow is awesome.
