Thanks, I knew of an off-raod park called "Hollister Hills"...I think.

A few years back, I had a buddy with a Hummer who used to go 'wheelin' there. Is that part of the same place?

Hollister may be south of San Jose but Carnegie is between Livermore, CA & Tracy, CA. It would be north to northeast of San Jose. See the map here http://www.carnegiesvra.com/carnegie_svra.htm

I'm getting Carnegie mixed up with another place. Carnegie is the one off of Vasco road on 580 I guess (been there once). There's another place south-east of San Jose (not Hollister) off of 101. I don't remember the name of it, but it's near Anderson Resevoir, but on the east side of 101. It's nowhere near the size of Carnegie though.
