Do you guys both own L's? I just got mine a couple of weeks ago. So where bouts do you stay?

 

Yes, I have a Silver 00 Lightning, which I bought in July of 2000. Occassionally, several San Antonio L owners get together for "informal" gatherings. Nathan is the organizer. Do a search for Nathan and send him an e-mail.

I've lived in SA for about 4 years. I'm keeping my L in a locked storage unit, to keep it 'out of sight, out of mind', and away from vandals etc. I plan on keeping mine completely bone-stock and original, sort of like a collector. I usually take it out on weekends every couple of weeks or so, to keep it charged and lubed. Keeping it clean and spotless is one of my goals, and after getting caught in a flash flood here a couple of weeks ago (with foot and a half deep water), that goal was tested...it took several hours of scrubbing at the local car wash to get it sparkling again. That's the last time I take the L out in the rain!

 

You all with L's need to get together some time just to talk about L's if nothing else. Show some L pride.

I live on the north side of San Antonio--281 and 1604. We should get a group together and go to Hooters or some other establishment with a view.

I work alot, but what about the weekend before xmas? Just something informal you know. Hey Greg could you talk to nathan? Maybe he knows more L owners in the area that wouldn't mind getting together. You guys let me know. Maybe we could make a day of it or something. I would really like to get some group L pics, and talk about mods, You know the "fun" stuff.
