Some of you might remember my post about running out of engine at the end of the 1/4 mile. Well I pulled 2 plugs on the passenger side to take a look. The first one was fine the second one was fried. Here is what it looks like. Sal is sending me some Denso's(hurry Sal). Thanks to TommyLightning for helping me out on this....I don't think I did any other damage. The engine actually idled pretty good except for a slight miss.

Actually I think something else is going on with the 01's. Something with the MAF and when it sees 5 volts it goes into a default mod that does not realize you have the exta power. The Denso's will help allot though.. Jeff
Hey JeffsLightning,
My L ate a tip on a Denso plug when I was at Englishtown. It seemed to run good but when I was at idle, I could feel a slight miss/skip. JL checked my plugs for me at the track, and we found one of the Denso's was missing a tip.
I like the Denso's, maybe its my imagination, but it seem's like the Denso's make my L run better than the NKG TR6's.

I am glad you found the problem. Sal is a great guy and knows his plugs. Make sure you listen for any pinging. I found that the best way to hear any pinging is to drive by a wall and get on it. If it is pinging you will be able to hear it better. Also after getting a few miles on the plugs take a look at the #2 plug to see if anythihng is going on and that the color looks good.
