PSP high flow fuel pumps installed!
Well I got on my back and creeper this weekend to finally install my high flow fuel pumps. I really thought this was going to be allto harder, but the install was a snap.
Total time involved was about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The first step of jacking up my truck was already done since the tranny is in piece's.
Second I remove the gas tank strap supports and slowly lowered the tank with my floor jack. The front end of the tank was resting on my PSP drive shaft loop so the rear end of it could be lowered a little at a time.
Once I lowered the tank enough I realized that I could wedge myself up in there to just pull the fuel pumps without removing the tank at all. So I unscrewed the pumps and removed them.
Then I just swapped them with the new 255Lph fuel pumps.
So now I should flow another 290lph of fuel, which is 57% more. Yeah baby! I'm ready for the big shot now!
Well that was about the extent of the install. The hardest part of the job was getting the damn straps back on the tank. I'm sure it would have been allot smoother if I didn't have 3/4 a tank of gas in the truck, HAHAHAHAHAHA.
Later guys.

Me and my friend did the fuel pumps on a FULL TANK of gas. Wasnt fun we couldnt cyphon any gas out either because the neck had a flange in it that prevented a hose from going down it. Let me tell you that tank is heavy you can save alot of weight right there going with a fuel cell.
