Fun video from Laguna Seca

Although there isn't a Lightning in this video (bummer), check it out. It's about 18 mb and there is a surprise near the end. If you freeze frame the vid just before the corkscrew, you will catch a glimpse of a car that is hanging with two Porches as another chases all three cars down.

Enjoy as you watch the three exit at turn 11. Can you say "after-burners!"

SWEET!!!

Crazyfoo,
No doubt, I maxed out at 522 KB/sec here at work, but they have a DS3 feeding us so I can see why!

That is one sweet video, I am so used to driving that on GT3 that I knew exactly what corners were next and where you get on the brakes and so on. Too bad they don't have a L on GT3 or I would be "out" their racing with you! Cool video Spike!

Spike,
Looks like a '65 Falcon Hardtop hanging with (actually passing) those Porsches. Sweet!!!

I'd love to have a '63 or '65 set up to do just that. Do you know who's car that is and what they've done to it?

Thanks.

Jeez, that thing takes a long time to download on my 12K modem.
I thought it was a Falcon, too, but I wonder what the heck the guy has in it; it just dropped those Porsches like a used you know what on the pit straight.

What's the car the video was shot from? Porsche guys seem to be ******* it. That Falcon seemed to be pulling on the video car down the front straight.

It looks like the Falcon was following a Boxster. The video was shot in a Porsche 993 TT. BTW, it does appear that the three cars weren't running too fast, yet I still got a laugh at the acceleration on the main straight by the detroit iron.
