PSP chip owners????

ok I am curious???

I have the switch chip in my truck and I was wondering how much the race side of the chip will give in the 1/8 mile.

Lets say i can run 8.2 on the street side and then I had some race gas at the track.

Anybody now how much of difference the race side will make, I would kill to get a 7.9 out of her.

Mods in sig...

Bob

Wish I could give you an answer, but I have been afraid to switch mine to the race program It scares the be-jesus out of me in the street program

So far, my race program has been good for 3-4 tenths over the street program in the 1/4. My best on stock F1's is 13.10 @ 107.5 with a horrible 2.33 60'. Don't forget to add the correct octane fuel for your program to avoid detenation.

Be sure to unhook the battery to wipe the PCM so it's forced to use the track program when switching at the track.

Back in the day of haveing a street/track chip we saw a .2-.3 differance between the two programs. Our current chip is all out street, all out track (only differance is shift point for smaller tires), Nitrous (should use more offten), and Nitrous 2 (only used twice I think).
