Just got done pulling the interior and redoing audio (pics)

Well I've been meaning to go and lay down my Bquiet I had ordered a month ago and I got around to it today and it turned out great.

Here are two pics of my interior stripped:

Here are all the parts that I had to take out:

And being the dumb **** I am, I forgot to take pics of the bquiet itself!!

I can see a little bit of the Blue B Quiet stuff where the passenger seat bolts down.

Looks good, and damn that stuff is sticky.

Hey that done pic brings up a question.. Is there a good amount of slack on the factory CD changer wires? or were they routed through the middle from the factory? I want to move mine to the center on te seat, or in the center con. when I get it!!

There was plenty of slack, just pull up the carpet and there is a hole already made there from the factory.

Speaking of stereo gear,

I finally got around to putting my 10s in the truck, compliments to MTX and their thunderform that fits our trucks awesome.

I got the preamplified enclosure that has a class D amp and some .7 ohm woofers. Overall it sounds pretty good, however I got this intially because i didn't want to have to find a place for another amp, but after hearing this thing, i am replacing the subs and putting my precision powers in.

My XM radio is also kicking some ***, 100+ channels of dig radio!! Let me just say awesome.

I did away with my 6 disc changer, and factory deck and replaced it with a new alpine 7875, boston pro 5.25's components, and a few other toys.

Looks good BTW
Brandon

No, Sirius does not offer service yet - starts next year. It will cost 12.95/mo. XM is available now, and costs 9.95. Sirius has *no* commercials, and XM has commercials on about 30 of its 100 channels.

My next big purchases are an Alpine CDA-7878 head unit - plays MP3s AND XM Radio. Then I won't miss the changer!

Evil:

When you soundproofed, did you cover the vent holes in the back of the cab?

BTW, great job!

Soundproofing makes a HUGE difference, IMHO. Unless you like road noise.

I did the whole cab & doors.

The reason I asked about the vents is more of a safety concern. Mine is so air tight, you can feel pressure on your ears when you kick on the A/C.

If the airbags were to ever go off, so would the ear drums. I turned off the pass. side to minimize the risk.

Actually, if I hit something hard enough to set off the air bags, I hoping somebody would just run up and shoot my deaf a$$... Please....
