Where can I get a Locking Ford Fuel Door? I prefer a Billet one beacause I have a Silver 00' L. I saw the new one from PRO-FIT but the cost is to high. Any help would be appreciated.

So let me get this straight, the 01 mustang Bullit fuel door is a bolt on deal? And if it isn't how much work is involved in the retro fit????

 

Hey there the Bullitt Fuel Door will work on Mustang, F150 Flareside and Styleside with no modification, if you have a SuperCrew you will need to modify your filler neck opening behind the gas door. This Bullitt piece has two screws that use the current holes your stock door uses, and there are two prongs(tabs covered on rubber) that hook inside the bedside out of sight. I also used nylon washers to shim mine out flush to bed side and used to nuts to secure the screws and deter theft.

Here you go, by the way remember that this fuel door goes on the passenger side of a Mustang and when you install it on your L the running pony and Ford oval on the inside of the door will be upside down, I am going to shave these off over the winter.

The Ford part # is 1R3Z*63405A26*AA they list for $99.95 as of 08/24/2001 when I ordered mine, heard they went up, go figure. I paid $86 delivered with my discount. I also got a few more from a place in Canada known as DecalKing I found thru ebay, you might drop them an email and see if they have any. Last time I got one from them they were like $75 bucks delivered.
