Stillen Brake Update - For those Interested

CAlled Stillen today and got the lowdown on what is going on.

They have crossdrilled stock rotors available front and rear. Metal Matrix brake pads are also available for the stock setup. The stainless brake lines are still in production.

They also offer the AP racing brake setup, similar to Brembo in price and design which is available now as well.

I thought that people were having problems with cross drilling the stock rotors? How can they cross drill the stock ones and not have any cracking?

I went with Ruslows dimpled and slotted rotors(back) they look great(haven't had a chance to put them on yet and try them out).

Exclamation cracking

They will crack because of the stresses that drilling does to the rotor. It is just a matter of time. The only ones that I know that WON'T crack are solid rotors and vented rotors that are purpose cast to be drilled.Stan
And they will if you get them hot enough time and time again without proper cool downs.

Question

Well Stan, what is the status of your brake upgrade project? Are you going to be vending them to the rest of us? And if so, any idea what they will cost?
