Notice the 01 tails on the yellow truck, but it looks like the rims are off a 99/00

I think if yellow was offered, everyone would get bored with yellow and want something else. Besides those that have painted theres have a truly unique Lightning, and if everyone started getting yellows it'd kinda ruin it for them .

Actually that pic posted by WantALight was from the Spy Photos from Blue Oval News of the Terminator Mustang. They were taken at the place if im correct that they call the Graveyard it has all ford soon to be released cars, and other ones in pieces. If i remeber correctly i think they had a Cobra R there with no wheels on it just sitting on the ground. I know for sure they had a Mercury Marader there with guages and a whole bunch of computer equipment on the dash and back seat. So im guessing that Yellow lightning is someones who works at ford that has access to the paint or could be one of the 2 yellow lightnings that ford had painted when they were choosing the new color for 00 at least i think it was 2. As for the 01 tails maybe just put them on like everyone else.

That picture was definitely taken at the Roush Building in Allen Park, MI. I've seen the truck, and believe me it's not that impressive. Wheels are from a '99- '00. The paint job was applied very quickly. There's overspray in a number of places.

There's a lot of interesting sights there- Mercury Marauders, Cobra R's, the Thunder, etc, etc. Saw an '01 L there with stock wheels, only they appeared to be magnesium.

The pic that Rick posted is the truck used at our plant for a play toy for executives and such. It was built in 1999 as a 2000 model and gets used once in a while. the rims are now polished and it does look sweet! The pic was taken in the same spot the 02 true blue pics were that WantALight and I posted a few weeks back.
