I am asking the moderator to please E-mail me All the copies of the Statements made by BaBolt concerning me(JL) and the New JL ThrottleBodies. This was a Serious accusation made against me and my Company and this must be dealt with in an appropiate manner. my desire is not to keep dragging this on but i must see this put to rest in the proper manner. and deleting post is not the proper way to end this! As I responded via email a few moments ago (which bounced), once a user edits any post they have made, the content of that post disappears (edited in the database) and cannot be recovered. Actually, the content doesn't disappear, it just changes to whatever the edited content is...Sorry. Though I have not seen any of the original messages, I suspect that you probably want to take this offline and discuss it with BABolt directly, as I don't think it is appropriate to continue it on these forums.

Thank You Steve for responding. i'm sure there is some way to retreive these FALSE accusations. I just thought i would ask you as a (Moderator) if you could retreive these FALSE accusations for me. Since this did happen on Your Board.I'm glad my printer was working last night. My desire is to see this delt with properly and done away with! Thank You. JL

Please keep in mind that I am not saying the I don't WANT to help, but rather that I CANT help in this instance. Since this forum software uses a database as its back-end, once the content in the database is changed, the original content no longer exists, simple as that. There is no back-up from this week that I could simply restore either. I would help if I could, but your printed pages are the only proof that any other content appeared in that thread.

JL - I've never worked on these databases before but I don't see why they would be much different from other databases. But to my knowledge, once something is change, it's changed for good, like Steve said.

It's kinda like this, have you ever worked on Excel spreadsheat? You put some numbers into 1 cell. Then you decide to change those numbers so you click on the cell and input the new numbers. The old ones are gone unless you either hit 'undo' or yourself put in those numbers again. And I don't think these boards have the 'undo' button.

Meh. If BABolt is making claims that other people rip his designs off(which I am guessing is the point of the scanned message) and then going and editing the posts, he must not have the proof to back up his claims. That IS a pretty big accusation to make, IMO.

 

JohnnyLightning...It is not that easy me ***! Serious accusations my ***!! Your a damn rip off artist..SIRE. You KNOW exactly what you have done...you have copied the design as such. Any one individual who has the ability to see can immediately identify and ascertain the similar appearance of the product. My opinion is such at this point that any member of the board who solicites business with you concerning said "throttle body" is patronizing a direct copy kat. If patent pending was/or is applied to the product, YOU WILL see your date in court. The item upon first examination is identical. What constitutes "change on your behalf" could/can be decided by a jury of your peers. I refuse to do business with a company of your calibre. This is utmost rediculous. Even the engraving is virtually identical.

If JL did something wrong, Why did the person making this statement edit his post?? That shows that a false statement was made and HE was trying to cover his A$$ do to Slander laws......

 

johnny has the right to use the lightning logo in his engravings just as much as the next person babolt doesnt own the rights to the lightning logo that was a ridiculous thing to say
