Question The "water pump"

What is the Ford pn#? I talked to a guy at SVT and he said the Cobra R water pump is stardard issue on all mustangs. That doesn't make sense. Some rumor the pump is electric. I wonder about the impeller bieng redesigned for high RPM and therefore having low coolant flow on the street and low rpm Any good info or help will be apreciated The one on JDM's site is not electric. Thanks ahead!

I don't have the part#
The pump isn't electric, it has no shaft to mount the clutch fan. It is designed to work with a electric fan.

The impellar is redesigned, its quite a bit different than the stock truck pump.

Remember, Cobra's run a low speed too.

The part # you are looking for is YR3Z-8501-AB. The pump is not electric and has no provision for using the stock lightning clutch fan, so you will have to use an electric one. This is the pump used on the cobra r and is not the same as the regular mustangs and cobra's.
