Has anyone painted there Stock Grill?

sure did, but went to billet later, i did like the painted, but for longevity i like the billet better, after about two months on, got alot of chips, also with the 2000 and 99, honeycomb grills u get alot of shadowing inside the honeycomb holes...

hey L in Detroit, your just the guy i want to talk to!!! i just bought a new grill and was about to ask if there are any tips or shortcuts to changing these grills?? you been runnin' the L anywhere local? thanks........jack

WYLDMAN here is Houston had his painted gloss black to match his truck. They looked really great when compared to the normal faded gray. If you see a Special Edition Lariet Red the grills are painted red from the factory. They look really great. I think either black or red would look good on the Red L. One guy here has a regular F-150 and painted his silver on a maroon truck. They really looked classy. Anything is an improvement over the gray plastic.

havent run at the track, lately, been expecting the cold stuff so havent planned much, who figure we would end up with his stuff..

not really short cuts but the lower comes off from the back and upper comes apart pretty easy, depense on the grill ya got on who it will match up, i had to cut and bend some of my billets. if ya want a hand email back and i can help ya out..
