New pics 4 new mods

Well after 3 months of Lightning ownership I thought I would share with you a few pics of the appearance mods made to date so far. Nothing spectacular but it's a start.
All the mods I have done so far, and the ones planned for the future, (JDM Stage 1 Kit, Bassanni Exhaust, etc., etc., and so on and so on and so on....... Oh my God where did my wife go ??)
Anyway, I have gotten all the info I needed to do these mods from this particular Lightning forum and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who contributes to making this forum just a wealth of information and knowledge to all things concerning Lightnings and for that matter all Ford trucks.
Mods to date are : Bullit Fuel Door / Astrocap Wraplid
Stull Industries Upper Lower Grille / 20% Window Tint

one easy one you might want to do

If you remove the wire harnes for the towing hitch and reverse it you cant see the wire harness at all. It makes it a pain to plug in wires but if you dont tow much its well worth it to not have to see that nasty looking plug

Its only one bolt and takes about 8 seconds to do

You have a sweet looking truck

builtfordfast,
Looking good! I like the Billet Gas Tank Door. Do you have to drill any extra holes in the side of the bed or the stock Gas Door? How is the Billet Gas Door mounted??? Is the Billet Gas Door a hard install? Let the mods begin! djy

Builtfordfast and DJY1,

SweeeeeT Trucks! I like my Silver but you guys got me wanting black now.

DJY1, are your wheels 20" or 22"? I have 1200 miles on my truck and if there is a market for my wheels and tires I would sell and buy some like yours. They look too cool.

chikenears, I have 20 inch 2001 chrome rims on my L.
What kind of seats do you sit on
"Billet Aluminum Seat Covers" wrote down on as a
mod. Isn't Aluminum pretty uncomfortable to sit on???

To KGM and Aus6321

Next time I get the digital camera I'll take a close up of the fuel door.
Here is a thread with a close up view on a white Lightning

To Djy :

The fuel door is a 2 minute job ... 2 screws. Fits pretty darn good considering it's made for the Mustang

DJY1,

The seat covers can be pretty uncomfortable if the seat belts are tightened up too much but, overall, there pretty cool. The high compression tail light gaskets cause the fluctuation valve to overlap the johnson rod at times but that's compensated for by the flux carburetors.

You're wheels are da bomb! 20"? They look bigger. It must be the lowering job that makes it look so good. Nice backdrop too, I hope it's your home. Good luck Dude! And, thanks.
