Question lower pulley sizes

I have a 2000 L. How much bigger can I expect a new pulley to be over stock, if it increases boost 2lbs or 4lbs. Do you need to get a longer belt? Or is the factory size long enough. I'm just trying to get a feel for these new pulleys and their sizes I've always been a Ford boy but new to this whole blower thing.

I may get some measurements in the morning if no one else responds. My PSP pulley is .5" bigger than stock for 2 lbs. I also got the belt for it and it was special order from HiLo Oriley's since it is 8 rib and most are 5 or 6 rib. On memory I think stock is 7.75" and PSP is 8.25"?

No, the s/c belts aren't 'special order'. You can get them from a NAPA store--made by Gates. It is 8-ribbed--the stock belt is used by some for the 2lb pulley. I chose to use a longer belt-NAPA-25-080670. For my 3lb pulley, JL sent(with the pulley) NAPA-25-080680 which is 1 1/8"x 68 5/8"s

I've been using the stock belt with the 2 lb pulley. No problems

The weather down here is fine with high 60's and full sun with a southern breeze I guess some parts stores are better stocked than others. Dallas is a large city and I looked at 4 chains (Napa, Pep Boys, AutoZone, HiLo) and no one had it HiLo could get it in a day from their warehouse. Same on the NGK plugs some guys get the TR's and iridiums off the shelf but I can't get them around here? My 2lb belt is a Gates K080670 green stripe lifetime. The stock belt would not fit without breaking off the stop tab on the tensioner.

Smile Pulley sizes

Stock pulley 7.40"
PSP 2lb 7.90" +.50"
PSP 4lb 8.40" +1.0"
LFP upper 2.80" -.125

I just installed the PSP 4lb with an LFP upper and run the gates K080660 belt. The belt fits nice and snug with very little slippage (and yes, I broke the tab to get it on there)

If anybody knows the diameter of the 3lb and 5lb pulley that are out there, I'm curious to know.
Dale
