Funny that you guys brought this topic up. I've had the paint for a while now and was just thinking about painting mine over the winter. Did you take the calipers off the vehicle or did you just mask off the surrounding area and paint with them still on?

i was stupid and bought a brake caliper brush on paint kit, the L calipers are already painted black so the paint did not stick that good we had to put like 4 coats on, after that base paint i bought a $5.95 can of ford engine block paint from wal-mart and painted them again to get a even paint job, then 1 coat of spray on clear coat. they look damn cool and i have already washed my truck and they clean off pretty easy
i work part time at a auto detail shop, one of the people that said they like the paint job had a harley f150 and asked were i got it done i told him that we could do it for around $150.00.
he said cool and mabey we would see him after christmas
hahahahahahahahahahah i love it 7 or 8 of those will buy my shaker hood!!!!

chainsaw, since i bought a brush on kit i just painted them still on the truck, the spray paint i just sprayed into a cup and brushed that on too. the only thing i sprayed on was the brake cleaner (before i painted) and the clear coat after. tell us how it comes out
